UIC is implementing requirements of Occupational Safety & Health Administration, which are compatible with the requirements of OH&SAS8001:2007 in cigarettes manufacturing activities.
UIC is always committed to apply the official Control Legislation & Regulatory Requirements to save employees health and safety against potential risks that may occur by providing the followings:

UIC is also committed to continuously improve the requirements of Occupational Safety & Health Administration and request its employees to give feedback for improving the system. However, UIC sets safety objectives and review them as per strict framework as follows:
Identification of the purposes and objectives of the Occupational Safety and Health and review them in accordance with the relevant risks identification, risks assessment and risks measurements.
Performance monitoring and identification of the achieved objectives and analysis the relevant information to bridge the gaps and know the reasons
Reconsideration of the current control measures or setting new measures (if necessary)
Updating the high management with the safety status regularly either thru meetings or regular performance reports, which helps the high management to take actions accordingly as per legislation.
Ensuring the effectiveness of the current Occupational Safety & Health System by reviewing the performance risks
Involvement and consultation of workers concerned parties, authorities, local communities and specialists for achieving safety objectives & goals.
